Sweet piece! Making light of a sometimes volatile topic.
I think I just had a Kool Aid flashback. Your poem fits the goofy but cheerful image perfectly. Not of course, that you’re goofy or anything…Nice one, adam. I liked.
Short and fun and you picked up the words well. Nice.
Lovely work full of fun
Koolaid breakthrough…nice he grew up! that’s rasta baby!
So the Kool-Aid guy is as “kool” as he looks.. Fun poem..Liked your take on this!!

i’ve only ever met one carrot who could play saxophone. well okay, it was this red haired dude.
Ha! Mr. Kool-Aid! (The yellow punch flavor?) You nailed that one, Adam.

I always thought kool-aid was nasty, but this poem tastes good
Kool poem. It has that hot childhood summer feeling.
Takes me back to the old commercials, breakin’ through the wall; peace ~
Adore that you show homage to Kool Aid in your piece! I love it! Short, sweet and summer fun all wrapped up in poetry. Much enjoyed! ~ Rose
Kool-aid man has one thing to say on this matter…Oh yeah! Heh. Fine work Dustus!
Sweet like Mr. Koolaid himself =) Thank you for including info on form Adam. I am learning!
lovin the Koolaid man!
Had to Google Kool-aid Man, couldn’t remember him. Love your happy choice in this, but I paused on breakthrough… (as you intended); so many thoughts flow fast through that breach. Can get deep there. Love it!
Hope all is well Mr. D
Such a fun poem, Adam! I love that last line. Truth is, your poem is what inspired me to try out Shadorma! Thanks so much for this wonderful space and your poems.
Fun poem. By coincidence, I wrote a Kool-Aid related limerick yesterday: Fried What???
Such a fun read!
fruits dance on the walls
