Disguise

Breath catching up to mind
Vulnerable fades the worn-thin line
Cross to shoulder burning deep
Put to pasture, follow sheep—

Falling asleep
Desolate field of swaying wheat
Tree of Knowledge in desert heat
Flower clusters a blush tone white
Nature’s pass before our eyes
Cherry tree, blue satin sky
Time is one part of disguise

  1. An Imperfect Servant Says:

    Essance and existance intertwined
With time and space in the mind
And we perceive as Observers should
Our will worked in metal and would
We believe it perminant, with lies
We view the world through veiled eyes.

We view what we believe is reality through an imperfect clairity of perspective. Love the poem.
