Culling Tense

Pink hibiscus
White on trellis
Madmen wade
Waves of jealous
Prayerful air sweet symphony
Pearly gates of cricket wings

Sunset fades a dulcet ring
Canopy an arbor tree
Creaking bug sounds echoing…

Wind strewn leaves
Shooting star
Hearing airplanes fly afar…
(Perceived as slower than a car)
In a minute lost you are

Cool night air through time condensed
Beads of dew like morning sweat
Sunrise blurs a chain-link fence
Softening the viewer squints
Warming feelings culling tense

Humid musk-scent sunshine spread
Sky afire orange, red
Visual forms of daily bread
Slanted beams golden
Cloud middles rent
Accept from morning
From fear to forget
