Mind Entranced
Rain pattering
darkened day
blackened gray
scattering, pondering
wonder what’s happening?
fallen steady echoes refrain
calm passed alarm
tornado warned
alerts converted
powers gone…
nothing left to give
wishing peace for all to live
sign of sleep when lids won’t lift
continents and time will drift
melting ice heats life to death
chill red wine, ignore respects
do your best, but don’t expect
hearts explode in seconds flat
lines combine on dare to ask
droplets sounding
mind entranced

Thank you, Art. Let me pick my jaw back up from off the floor….
Okay, that’s better lol
Many times over the last 10 years, I have questioned my own discipline to do what I do these days. I’ve come to the conclusion often that if not for you and the many lessons I’ve absorbed as a small child, I would not be living my dream today. I don’t know—words escape me at the moment. I’m sure you understand. I wish you well and am extremely grateful for your supportive message. My very best as well to any old friends at your schools who may recall me. Thank you sincerely 🙂
