I think one of the great benefits of blogging is that you have the opportunity to connect with people.  When the concern is genuine, a community cannot help but form. I mean what could be better than becoming acquainted with individuals from around the world.

THE BILLY’S BLOGSTATIC FRIENDS AWARD 2010 is an award presented to me by Shakira in honor of William.  Shakira is a wonderful person and blogger who always makes me feel welcome in this awesome poetic blogging community. I am lucky to know her. William, whom I have recently had the pleasure of meeting, writes poetry that makes me consider the need for change in the world. He was born and raised in Edinburgh, the Capital City of Scotland.
