Mirroring Dreams

Elevated trains of thought
Building stacks in reflective glass
Arcade of sleek pillars standing tall
Framing curved paths and concrete walk

Bridging illusion
To all that is seen
From the other side
Mirroring dreams

  12. i felt the smoothness of the poem here.
i did’t read it, i drifted through it

  13. Photo is wonderful. Poem is encompassing. I see dreams to become and dreams to look back on all in one poem. I see stepping up and crossing over. How cool that your poem REFLECTS all that!

  14. Love the pun there, Leslie! That’s nice interpretation too. Don’t think I can summarize it better than you just did. Thank you!!!

  15. another lovely poem Adam. I think the use of the gerund (building, framing, bridging, mirroring…) has given the poem a nice cohesion and a sense of accomplishment. well done

  16. Good point. I think using gerunds creates a sense of present movement in some pieces. Thanks πŸ™‚

  24. Thanks, Lawrence. Hope your having fun learning digital photography πŸ™‚

    • Hi, kind of. I’m finding some aspects of digital photography difficult to grasp, but overall, my photos appear to have improved.

      Have a good weekend.

      • Good! Glad to hear of improvement. It’s a bit of a juggling act at first with the camera functions, but after you get used to it, it easier to anticipate the settings you’ll need. Have a great week, Lawrence
