Collage Homage

Today, One Stop Poetry celebrates “The Voice of Art,” a closer look at the work of Mitko Gogov. For the occasion I decided to make a collage of some of the images presented in the post (filling in the circles of his “Les Mots” with additional Gogov images), along with a short poem. Enjoy & Happy New Year!

Express yourself & don’t hold back
Sharing skill though some may laugh

Combining one’s inspired dreams
Discovery through artistry!

  8. Happy New Year, Dulce!

*All credit to Mitko, an amazing artist. The overall composition is a collage of all his images atop his existing “Les Mots.” (I did very little except for Photoshopping in four images).

Les Mots (which I misspelled) actually a moon attempt at reawakening as an artist. Time will tell if I can still draw and paint. Les Mots was a child like exercise on my ipad. Hey it’s tough being the child of an creative genius.

  12. Happy New Year, Leslie!

*Deep breath* Whew, what an amazing, crazy, enjoyable (insert 1,000 more adjectives lol) 6 months! Can’t wait to see what happens next…. 🙂

Thanks for keeping One Stop going through some very tough times for all of us. You deserve all the credit in the world, moonie. cheers

  13. Wonderfully done! Happy New Year!

  14. Very well done, and Happy New Year!

  15. Reading through your stuff… and liking your writing more and more… And I’m cursing the Michigan economy, as I’ve just been informed that you recently left E.L. Now that just makes me sad. All the ones who can are leaving, leaving the rest of us artists here to starve alone, with no one to drink coffee with.
