well done,
human feelings are complex,
if one allows negative energy to take charge,
one loses…
You have vivid portray of one’s emotions…
Happy Monday!
Thank You for stopping by today.

Wonderfully expressed Adam. I agree with jingle human feelings are complex and we can’t allow negative energy to take over. As always I love your poem. I am so happy to see you post again.
Larry is getting better slowly, and each day we take a step at a time. He no longer have diarrhea, nor coughing up blood. The doctor said it would take awhile before he is completely back on his feet.
My daughter, Donna, and grandson, Jason, and granddaughter, Krystal also had diarrhea really bad over the weekend, and was running fever. She thought because of what Larry had being contagious they caught it from him. I prayed all weekend it wasn’t. When they went to the doctor he daid they just had a virus. God does hear our prayers. And I thank you and everyone for your prayers.
OMG, thank goodness!!! To hear you say Larry’s getting better, puts a smile on my face π As for the rest of your family, hope you all take plenty of Pepto! lol
Have a great week, Viola
quite the range of emotion in this one dustus…much like the cycle one goes through when faced with pain of the heart…if it is yours now, i hope it passes into memory…
I can always picture something when I read your poetry. I see someone walking in this beautiful place but the figure is slumping, hands in pockets and thoughts elsewhere. The idea of exceptions not finding this figure is so true. He just needs to sigh and look around him, make it his own. Love the poem, once again.
Leslie, it makes me really happy to know youβre able to find so much in my poetry. I enjoy writing, and it means a great deal to know there are people like you who enjoy reading it. Thanks
Writing does get it out (I can attest), and I think it a much better outlet for emotion, than most. Lovely piece, loved the honesty of emotion. Heartspell
Totally agree with you about writing as an outlet, Heartspell. Sometimes I need to get it all out onto paper rather than letting emotions fester. It does help π
thanks (btw-despite there being no rally on Thurs. I plan to acknowledge the award. thanks again)
You are so welcome…it was well deserved. I think many of us are going to post on Thursday, anyway, even if there is no rally. I think this would be a good thing. Heartspell
Hi Adam, I post another poem about my childhood. I do hope I am not boring anyone with my childhood stories. LOL I know this took place so many years ago like 61 years. LOL
Writing is a great outlet for the highs and lows in life.
i sometimes wonder how we would grapple with life without the emotions that a painting or a poem evokes
I feel the speaker in the poem ranting at himself, fuming, and running aground with emotion.
This is definitely a self-rant. Guess I was due for one. lol Haven’t written like that in a while, Leslie. Well, at least I don’t think I have… “i sometimes wonder how we would grapple with life without the emotions that a painting or a poem evokes” well said… Exactly π Thanks so much.
I love it when you are feeling something so deep that you just can’t find the words and then you come across someone who did and you realize I couldn’t have said it better…and I don’t need to because it’s done. Reading can be great therapy too and you’ve captured some strong emotions. Writing or reading words poured out can be such a great release..thanks for this!
I agree completely that it’s awesome when someone can put what I’m feeling into the words I didn’t think of until I read them… It means a lot that this piece does that for you. thanks, D.S.

Your ability to see inside of you and see and feel what you need to express…makes you who you are. Great expression here. π Have a fun week.
